Literacy to Legacy, Inc. is committed to developing young minds from middle school to college. Founded by Attorney Diana Lynch, a dedicated professional with a compassion for youth, Literacy to Legacy uses proven educational techniques to instruct children and build bridges from literacy to legacy.
Statistics have shown that although many teachers do an admirable job in the classroom, many children do not learn well in traditional educational settings. In fact, as evidenced by the tremendous failure of the No Child Left Behind, "cookie-cutter," non-individualized approaches to educating children have proven unsuccessful. Rather, studies show that childrens' personal strengths and natural abilities should be the foundation of their learning.
Through Literacy to Legacy, Inc., each youth is given an individual learning plan catered to meet his or her needs through middle school, high school and on through college graduation. Literacy to Legacy, Inc. matches youth with life coaches and mentors who monitor their progress through the educational system and provide the tools necessary to ensuring that they have the resources to take them from literacy to legacy.
Literacy to Legacy, Inc. focuses on building confidence, motivation, focus, and problem solving skills. We share successful strategies with students so they can succeed on their own, hence building a legacy for themselves, their families, and our communities!
